NETMCDO — CELEBRATING 24 YEARS!
TRANSPORTATION AND LODGING TIPS
This page contains some travel information for your trip to New York City and our conference.
This year, we are able to offer reasonably priced rooms in Manhattan School of Music’s residence hall for the nights of May 20, 21, and 22.
Please visit the Residential Life / Housing section of Manhattan School of Music’s website to view a slideshow featuring photos of the rooms.
*Note: Most MSM students will have moved out of the dorm by May 20.

This year, we are happy to be holding our conference in NYC at Manhattan School of Music — located near Columbia University, Barnard College, Union Theological Seminary, and Jewish Theological — at 130 Claremont Avenue, one block west of Broadway, and just north of 122nd St.
LaGuardia Airport is the closest airport to the Manhattan School of Music; a taxicab ride is about $30 (not including tip) and the M60 Select Bus Service goes directly from LaGuardia to the campus every half hour for $2.75 (change only). If you are arriving from another airport (including Newark International Airport), public transit is available to midtown Manhattan. If you prefer to take a taxicab ride, a taxi directly to Manhattan School of Music from JFK Airport costs approximately $60 (not including a 18% tip).
From midtown Manhattan, Manhattan School of Music is convenient to get to via the subway: simply take the uptown local 1 train to the 116th Street station.
